Is Feezy free?

Yes. The Free forever plan covers up to 50 students (members for a gym, tenants for a PG) and 1 branch, at ₹0, with no card and no expiry. When you outgrow it, one paid plan scales with your size, starting at ₹999 per month plus GST. Annual billing gives two months free: you pay for 10 months and get a full year.

How do parents pay? Do they need an app?

No app is needed. Every fee gets a permanent payment link and QR code the moment it is created, and reminder messages carry a Pay Now link. Tapping it opens a payment page branded with your institute name and logo, and the parent pays right there. Parents who want more can log in with just a phone number and a one-time code to see every child, across every institute they pay at, or message Feezy's WhatsApp number to see their dues and get a payment link instantly.

Which payment methods work?

Online, parents pay by UPI or card on Feezy's payment page. Offline, your staff can record a payment made by cash, cheque, bank transfer, or direct UPI from the student's page, with a reference number and the option to backdate the entry.

Can I use my own payment gateway account?

You do not need one. Feezy collects online payments through its Indian payment partners. To switch collections on, upload your business documents on the Payment KYC page in Settings at app.feezy.one; the page shows exactly which documents your business type needs and pre-fills details Feezy already has. Once verified, the status changes to Collections Enabled and money settles to your own bank account. If you have an existing arrangement you want to discuss, write to hello@feezy.one.

When does money reach my bank?

Collections are settled to your registered bank account on your payment partner's settlement cycle. You do not need to chase it: the owner gets a WhatsApp message and an email receipt every time a settlement is paid out, and the Collections screen shows money collected, paid out, and pending payout across the whole organisation. A Reconciliation page lets finance staff match every payment between Feezy and the payment provider.

Can I record cash payments?

Yes. Staff record cash directly from the student's page, and you can require an approval step so no cash entry counts until an administrator reviews it. The parent still receives a WhatsApp payment confirmation, and the receipt looks the same as one for an online payment.

What happens if a payment fails or does not show up?

A failed or abandoned payment shows a clear failed or Payment cancelled screen right away. If a payment went through at the bank but is not yet marked as paid, reopening the payment link updates it to Paid on the spot, and Feezy also finds and corrects any payment stuck as unpaid automatically in the background. Safeguards make sure the same payment is never counted or charged twice.

Do parents get receipts?

Yes. Every successful payment, online or recorded as cash, triggers a WhatsApp confirmation. Receipts carry real sequential numbers per institute and can be downloaded from the parent dashboard, in a proper tax invoice format with GST details when your institute is registered for GST.

How do WhatsApp reminders work?

Every institute starts with three ready-made reminders: a friendly nudge, a firm reminder, and a final notice. From the Configure Reminders table you control the wording, the channel (WhatsApp or email), and the exact timing, before or after the due date or billing date, at a chosen time of day. A family with several unpaid fees gets one combined message with a single payment link covering everything they owe.

Can I stop reminders for one student?

Yes. Add the student's phone number or email to the Do Not Contact list and no message will reach them; a bulk tool can mark several students as do-not-contact at once, and archived students are added automatically. Parents can also manage their own preferences, switching WhatsApp or email reminders off and setting quiet hours from their profile.

Can I run more than one branch?

Yes. The Free forever plan includes 1 branch, and the paid plan supports multiple branches. Each branch gets its own dashboard numbers, branch-specific fees, and branch admins who see only their own locations, while owners see every branch together in the Organisation Overview.

Can I import my existing students?

Yes, in two ways. During setup you can paste a student list from WhatsApp, a spreadsheet, or anywhere else, and names and phone numbers are pulled out automatically, with a preview to review before anything is created. You can also bulk-import your full roster from a spreadsheet using a downloadable template, straight into a specific batch, choosing which fees to apply and setting an enrolment date so students who joined earlier are billed correctly.

How do I delete my data?

Submit the form at feezy.one/data-deletion, or email hello@feezy.one with the subject Data Deletion Request. We acknowledge within 2 business days and verify account ownership. Account data is permanently deleted after a 90 day recovery window, except payment records that Indian tax and financial regulations require us to keep for the legally required period.
